    Scan or search

    Global barcode intercept means cashiers never click into a search field. Manual lookups fall back to live product search by name, SKU, or alias.

    Weigh, modify, override

    WebSerial scales push weight straight to the sale line. Permitted overrides (price, quantity) require role permission; logged actions can require PIN.

  3. 03

    Tender and print

    Cash, card, store credit, split tender, and Bag Fee. ESC/POS receipt prints over WebUSB; the cash drawer kicks open on tender complete.
